1. Warranty Coverage Summary

We stand behind the quality of our ebikes. Here is what we cover:

Warranty begins on the date of purchase and applies only to the original owner (the individual whose name and information appear on the original order).Non-Transferable: This warranty is registered to the original purchaser and is not transferable to subsequent owners.

2. What This Warranty Covers

We warrant that your e-bike will be free from manufacturing defects in material and workmanship under normal use and proper maintenance. If a covered defect occurs, we will repair, replace, or provide replacement parts at no cost.

For batteries: Covers manufacturing defects and abnormal capacity loss exceeding 30% within 2 years.
For motors: Covers manufacturing defects within the 1-year warranty period.

2.1 What Is Considered a Manufacturing Defect

For any covered defect, we cover all shipping costs for replacement parts or repairs.

3. What This Warranty Does NOT Cover

4. Pre-Ride Inspection

We recommend having your bike inspected by a certified bicycle mechanic before your first ride. Bikes shipped in boxes may require minor adjustments upon arrival. Our support team is here to help if needed.

5. How to File a Warranty Claim

  1. Contact us: Email support@talonebike.com with order number, the shipping label on the outer box and the damage to the outer box and the damaged area on the bike/inner packaging (photos & details videos of the damaged area)
  2. Wait for review: Our team responds within 24–48 hours
  3. Resolution: Troubleshooting guidance, replacement parts, or repair arrangement

Warranty Claims

If you believe your Talon Ebike has a warranty issue, your first point of contact should be the official website or online retailer where you purchased your bike. Proof of purchase and photos or videos of the damaged product are required with any warranty request. Before making a warranty claim, we suggest that you first contact us at support@talonebike.com as there may be a proper solution for your issue. Valid warranty claims will be processed through Talon Ebike in accordance with the warranty period stated on this page.

Talon Ebike will not ship any parts to the customer without checking photos or videos of the damaged product. The customer must provide evidence via email.

Please note: Warranty coverage is limited to the replacement of defective parts only. Any fees incurred by the customer—such as installation, labor, mechanic shop charges, or service fees—are not covered under this warranty and unfortunately cannot be reimbursed.

6. Shipping Costs for Warranty Claims

7. Shipping Damage

We are committed to ensuring your Talon Ebike arrives in perfect condition. To protect your purchase, please follow these guidelines if your order arrives with damage:

Shipping damage claims are extremely time-sensitive. It is your responsibility to inspect the e-bike immediately upon receipt. To initiate a claim for damaged parts, please follow these steps:

Before Signing: If a signature is required, please inspect the package and note any damage on the delivery receipt before signing.

* Notification: Notify support@talonebike.com within 3 days of receiving your goods.

Required Evidence: You must provide the following to process your claim:

  • A photo of the shipping label on the outer box.
  • Photos of any damage to the outer box.
  • Photos and a detailed video of the damaged area on the bike or inner packaging.

Resolution: Damage to parts during shipping is not covered by our standard Limited Warranty; however, Talonebike will replace such damaged parts or provide compensation for free, provided the evidence above is submitted within the 3-day window.

Important: Please do not discard any original packaging until the issue is fully resolved.

8. Replacement Units

If a replacement unit is issued, it is covered for the remainder of the original warranty period or 6 months — whichever is longer.

9. Accessory Warranty

Accessories are covered for 120 days against manufacturing defects. Normal wear, accident damage, and improper installation are not covered.

10. State Law (Important)

This warranty gives you specific legal rights. Some states do not allow limitations on implied warranties or exclusion of incidental damages. This warranty is governed by the laws of the State of California.
